About this role:

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our food service team as a valued member of our support staff. We are seeking individuals who share our passion for delivering high-quality care and exceptional customer experiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and safety.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Assist with menu planning and meal planning
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents and colleagues

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Ability to lift 20kg and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
