Company Description

We are looking for Junior Team Members who are available to work WEEK DAY and WEEKENDS and are under the age of 18

The Yiros Shop is a family owned and operated business, proud to be serving Queenslanders delicious Greek fast food with so many amazing tastes and flavours for everyone to enjoy

We're looking for motivated Team Members to join The Yiros Shop family and help create delicious food and an unforgettable experience for our loyal TYS customers.

Job Description

What does a Team Member do?

  • Preparing and serving food to customers
  • Cleaning and maintaining an organised workplace
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • Learning and following food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies
  • Cash handling and register operation
  • Working as part of a team to achieve the restaurant goals 
Qualifications

The right person for the job will have:

  • Availability on the weekend
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Great communication skills and ability to talk to customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, fast food restaurant desirable
Additional Information

Mandatory Requirements

  • Food Safety Certificate - I'm Alert Food Safety Course - FREE online
  • Working rights - passport and visa grant for international workers
  • RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment
