Competitive Remuneration PackageA competitive remuneration package awaits the successful candidate, comprising a generous base salary of $90,000, plus 11.5% superannuation, a bonus incentive program, and 20% annual leave loading.
Job DescriptionThis results-driven role requires a self-motivated Account Manager to join our team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining major accounts and prospecting new business opportunities in North Queensland.
This role will cover the North Queensland region, from Townsville to Cairns, with regional travel requiring up to one week away per month.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to achieve growth and optimize promotional activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for acquiring new business.
- Achieve monthly sales targets in all categories.
- Monitor and maintain existing customers, increasing Valvoline's product range of lubricants and car care.
- Liaise with supply chain on product forecasting and trends to ensure seamless product supply.
- Analyze account territory for gross profit, client usage, and follow-ups with amortized accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and analyze monthly reports with the Regional Manager.
To succeed, you will require:
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Lubricants or Industrial sectors (advantageous but not essential).
- Proven track record of sales success and business development.
- Excellent business acumen and attention to detail.
- Great communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to function constructively within a team environment and work autonomously.
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver's license.
