Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Nurse to lead our care team in providing high-quality patient care at our residence located in Coffs Harbour.

This is a leadership position where you will advise and assist care staff to deliver tailored care, respecting resident dignity and focusing on their health and wellbeing.

The role reports to the Care Manager, working within a supportive team to coordinate and deliver care.

  • Supervise and assist other care employees
  • Build and foster partnerships with residents
  • Provide complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments, and referrals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Registered Nurse DIV 1 qualification from AHPRA
  • At least 2 years of experience in Aged Care
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desirable)
  • An understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and ANACC (highly regarded)
