About the Role

We are seeking a strategic procurement expert to lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activities across our suite of programs.

This role plays a key part in ensuring all procurement is fit-for-purpose, compliant with relevant legislation, and supports the timely acquisition and management of equipment and professional services.

Key responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining strong connections with partners to achieve efficient, compliant, and value-for-money outcomes.

About Us

We play a central role in system transformation and over the next three years, we will prioritise translational research and system-wide workforce training and capability development, particularly for the lived and living experience workforce.

Through our existing partnerships with clinical, academic and lived experience organisations we will produce research informed by lived experience and translate the outcomes of that research into new and innovative models of care for better mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorians.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant government legislation and experience in procurement, contract and finance management activities
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience working with people who have a past or current lived experience of mental ill-health or psychological distress is preferable
