We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist to join our Katoomba team.
About the RoleThis is a challenging role that involves managing a busy front desk reception, liaising with patients, supporting doctors and medical staff as well as general administration duties.
The successful candidate will assist the Practice Manager with the day-to-day general operations of running a busy multi-disciplinary medical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Welcoming patients into the Centre, collecting and entering patient details, answering telephone calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments when required, and Reception duties.
- Administrative Duties: Ad hoc administrative duties and supporting the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Opening and Closing: Opening and closing the Medical Centre.
- Professional Relationships: Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff.
- Maintenance: Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Team Leadership Experience: Previous team leadership experience within a customer service role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Pracsoft/MedTech advantageous.
- Time Management: Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Attention to Detail: Detail orientated.
