Logistics Specialist

Job Role:
As a Reverse Logistics Professional, you will be responsible for managing returned goods and supporting warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The Job:
- Manage receipt, inspection, and processing of returned and damaged goods.
- Track and document returned stock accurately.
- Identify opportunities to recycle or repurpose items.
- Assess goods for defects, refurbishment, or disposal.
- Follow established procedures and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to streamline processes.
- Maintain records of stock movements and resolutions.
- Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and recovery.
- Work with suppliers, transport teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Support general warehouse tasks as needed.
About You:
- Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in reverse logistics.
- Strong attention to detail for assessing and processing returned stock.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
- Understanding of inventory management and stock documentation.
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
- Experience with furniture handling is a plus.
- Forklift license (current).
