**Leasing and Acquisitions Position Overview:**

We are seeking a motivated professional with a proven track record in sales and business development to join our Leasing and Acquisitions Team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering leasing and acquisition programs in accordance with the approved capital plan.

  • Deliver annual leasing and acquisition programs in accordance with the approved capital plan.
  • Identify and provision housing that meets required standards for Defence members and their families, as well as other government agencies.
  • Monitor performance, prepare regular reports, and provide expert advice on DHA and Defence policy, lease agreements, acquisition contracts, and real estate market trends.
  • Manage a portfolio of leased properties, identify new business leads, and prospect for potential properties to add to the DHA portfolio via direct negotiation with property owners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Delivering leasing and acquisition programs in accordance with the approved capital plan.
  • Provision of housing that meets required standards for Defence members and their families.
  • Monitoring performance and providing expert advice on various aspects of the real estate market.
  • Managing a portfolio of leased properties and identifying new business opportunities.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Proven track record in sales and/or business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.
