Beef Feedlot Career Starter Program

Embark on a dynamic career journey with one of Australia's leading beef feedlots. As part of the NH Foods Australia group, you'll be involved in various aspects of livestock production and management.
Program Components- Ration Allocation & Commodity Management: Ensure optimal feed quality and efficient resource allocation for maximum productivity.
- Livestock Procurement & Backgrounding: Source high-quality livestock and develop strategies for successful backgrounding operations.
- Animal Health & Husbandry: Maintain robust animal health protocols and implement best practices in husbandry to minimize losses.
- Maintenance of Plant & Equipment: Oversee regular maintenance and upkeep of facilities to ensure seamless operations.
- Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Veterinary Technician or related Degree: Recent graduates or final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- Strong Communication Skills and Proactive Approach: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude to excel in this role.
- Regional Queensland Deployment: Willingness to relocate to regional Queensland with accommodation available.
