Lead Defence Software Maintenance Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement software maintenance procedures in line with the Maintenance Management System
  • Support Senior Maintenance Manager and Software Asset Controller to maintain system images and software packages
  • Utilise tools to back up software configurations and schedule maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Controller and ILS team to ensure accuracy of the Maintenance Control Record
  • Configure and maintain software including patching for various system equipment types

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised qualifications in Computer Science, IT or Telecommunications
  • Experience with ADF logistics and maintenance
  • Technical expertise in software deployment and maintenance in complex environments
  • Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance at a minimum
