About the Role:

We are currently working in partnership with our client to find an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a leading Mining Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and collection of outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients
  • Post and allocate payments to client accounts
  • Reconcile client accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Chase and collect overdue payments
  • Respond to client queries regarding invoices and payments
  • Generate regular reports on outstanding debts and collections progress
  • Adhere to relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Accounting software packages exposure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the logistics industry will be highly regarded
