Procurement Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement specialist to join our team at a leading provider of catering and provisioning services for the airline industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement activity for goods, materials, and services within company policy and procedures. You will establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products that meet company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate procurement of goods, materials, or services within company policy, procedures, and authorised expenditure limits.
  • Evaluate and select suitable suppliers based on quality, price, and service criteria.
  • Prepare, approve, and enter purchase orders into our Airline Catering system.
  • Monitor and track order deliveries, ensuring they meet specified due dates and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Port Managers to achieve delivery and quality targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Procurement/Supply Chain environment in food service/distribution.
  • Food and Beverage industry background preferred.
  • Proficiency with EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Tertiary education is highly desirable.
