About the Role

We are seeking experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants to join our team at Silver Chain Group Limited. As a Domestic Assistant, you will provide support to clients with domestic tasks in their own homes, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with domestic tasks such as making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor.
  • Follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, and refer to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app.
  • Provide social support in the community, as required.
Requirements
  • 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Align to Silver Chain Group Limited's COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.
