Property Development Leader

A leading Aged Care provider is seeking an experienced Property Development Manager to lead large-scale property development projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee land transactions and coordinate settlement processes.
  • Manage regulatory approvals and project feasibility.
  • Collaborate on project funding and present recommendations to the Board.
  • Lead design development, incorporating safety and environmental considerations.
  • Act as Client Representative during construction phases.
  • Ensure timely project close-out and defect management.
  • Promote a customer-first culture throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, contracts, and policies.
  • Lead consultants and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Uphold workplace safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

About the Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong understanding of construction, planning, and property legislation. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as commercial acumen and financial analysis capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Property, Architecture, Commerce, Planning, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in property development.
  • National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and current Flu vaccinations.
  • Completion of pre-employment health and reference checks.
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
