Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sterilizing Services Specialist to join our team at Epworth Geelong-Waurn Ponds. As a key member of our CSSD team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of reusable medical devices through sterilization and disinfection processes, contributing to infection prevention and control, and overall patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of service to meet daily operational needs
- Ensure accurate processes are undertaken and documented
- Participate in quality improvement programs within the department
- Practice within the requirements of RMD sterilization standards and standard operating procedures
- Minimum Sterilization Services Certificate III (Grade 3) or Certificate IV (Grade 4) or equivalent
- Experience and competence working in all areas of CSSD, with ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
- Commitment to excellent customer service and quality improvement
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards impacting sterilizing services
- Demonstrated knowledge in infection prevention and control practices, as well as OHS requirements

AUD $57,295 - $70,910 + super + entitlements, dependent on year level and qualifications (prorated for part-time)
