About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Manager to join our team at Thales Australia. As a key member of our IS/IT group, you will be responsible for providing architecture support, cloud migration, and cloud operational support for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure good architecture standards, including cyber security by design
  • Develop cloud migration strategies and execution
  • Work closely with business units to develop value-added solutions
  • Identify optimisation opportunities
  • Lead a team of cloud technologists
  • Implement cloud best practices
  • Drive risk management practices
Requirements
  • Significant experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on on-prem to cloud migration
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud solution design and migration methodologies
  • Proven leadership experience in an IT environment, including leading teams through on-prem to cloud migration projects
  • Proficient in project management with a track record of effectively managing stakeholders in a complex matrix-style organization
  • Skilled in professional writing, reporting, and customer engagement, particularly in the context of on-prem to cloud Azure migration projects
