Exciting Opportunity in Field Service Fitting

As a skilled individual, you will have the opportunity to join our team as a Field Service Fitter based in Launceston. Your primary responsibilities will include assembling, maintaining and repairing a wide range of mining and construction equipment.

  • The repair and maintenance of both new and used equipment.
  • Conducting basic failure analysis and identifying specific modes of failure.
  • Preparing and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner.
  • Completing and submitting relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment in line with company standards.
Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A relevant Mechanical Trade qualification or Commercial Vehicle trades experience.
  • Previous experience with the assembly, overhaul, repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
  • High Risk Work licenses (forklift, dogging, working at heights etc) are highly regarded.
  • A strong focus on safety with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work.
