As an Injury Prevention Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating initiatives to prevent injuries and promote workplace health and safety. You will work closely with case managers, applying your knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including forms of treatment applicable to injuries, to develop effective injury prevention strategies.
About the Role
The Injury Prevention Coordinator will work collaboratively with case managers to coordinate initiatives to prevent injuries and promote workplace health and safety. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a sound background in claims management experience in the NSW worker's compensation scheme, knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, and well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate initiatives to prevent injuries and promote workplace health and safety
* Collaborate with case managers to develop effective injury prevention strategies
* Apply knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures to develop effective injury prevention strategies
Requirements
* Proven experience in claims management in the NSW worker's compensation scheme
