Research Scientist Opportunity

As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to multiple ongoing projects and have opportunities to lead independent lines of investigation.

The role is focused on human immunology and virology, particularly in the context of infectious diseases such as hepatitis C and SARS-CoV-2.

We employ cutting-edge systems immunology, viral genomics, and translational research approaches to understand viral persistence, immune response, and treatment outcomes.

Key requirements include:

  • PhD in virology, immunology or a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Highly developed skills in viral neutralisation assays, recombinant antigen expression, antigen-specific adaptive immune assays, and B cell and T cell repertoire sequencing.
  • Competent level of statistical analyses and bioinformatic skills including R and Python.
  • Experience in drafting high-quality publications.

You will report to the Head of Research and be expected to maintain a track record of significant involvement with the profession and/or industry.
