The role of Equipment Maintenance Technician is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is achieved by providing mechanical maintenance assistance to operators, line maintainers and production personnel in all manufacturing areas and departments where required.

The successful candidate will have trade qualifications and completed apprenticeship, with comprehensive understanding and experience of pneumatics and hydraulic systems, as well as competent welding skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to safe work practices, site policies and procedures, including contractor compliance
  • Providing technical support and guidance to production, packaging, and engineering services personnel on preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving Preventative Maintenance routines along with overhaul scheduling and documentation

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
