About The Role The Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides gastroenterology and minor procedure care across ten procedural rooms.
The recently completed $7 million expansion and re-development project increased the total number of operating theatres/procedural areas to ten with two new theatres and seven additional recovery bays.
About You The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care and evidence-based practice.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to be solution focused and implement change principles to meet growth and demand.
Customer focus is a priority in all aspects of care delivered in line with Ramsay's core values.
The successful applicant is required to provide support and mentorship to the team in all areas of management and facilitate opportunities for the team.
Skills and experience: Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Extensive experience as a Gastroenterology or Perioperative Nurse with sound knowledge of ACORN standards Experience and understanding of GENCA and HICMRPrior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager level will be viewed favourably.
Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, inspire and support others.
