About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to coordinate work integrated learning opportunities for optometry students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing work-integrated learning experiences that meet educational and accreditation standards, promoting collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement work-integrated learning programs that align with the optometry curriculum
  • Collaborate with academic staff, industry partners, and students to ensure high-quality learning experiences
  • Monitor and evaluate work-integrated learning experiences to ensure compliance with program standards
  • Provide student support and learning and teaching support in a higher education setting

What We're Looking For

  • Optometrist or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Ability to provide student support and learning and teaching support in a higher education setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality audit and evaluation research
  • Demonstrated management, organization, and communication skills
