Casual Academic Opportunities in Optometry
The University of Western Australia is seeking casual academics to deliver high-quality clinical skills training in our Doctor of Optometry program. As a Clinical Skills Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of optometrists.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and assessing clinical skills in our pre-clinical skills lab
- Developing and delivering innovative curriculum content
- Providing feedback and mentoring to students
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve teaching goals
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Optometrist
- Therapeutically endorsed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
