As a Traffic Management Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive traffic guidance schemes and management plans aligned with industry standards and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather project details, including scope of work, required resources, schedules, and specific project requirements.
  • Review and update traffic management plans and guidance schemes, addressing feedback or concerns promptly.
  • Perform job analysis, hazard identification, risk analysis, and provide assessments and recommendations to minimize or eliminate risk.
  • Assess historic traffic volume and related data to minimize impact on road networks and traffic flow when designing traffic management plans and guidance schemes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current accreditation in AWTM.
  • Valid WA Driver's License.
  • Full unrestricted Australian Working rights.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills built on a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or RapidPlan software.
  • Working knowledge and interpretation of relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice relating to traffic management procedures and policies in WA.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
