Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking an individual to fill a position as a Plant Operator at one of our key facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic team and contribute to the safe operation of plant and equipment.

Job Description:
  • Operate plant and equipment such as cranes, forklifts and jackhammers as required
  • Feed raw material and processing agents into plant machinery
  • Set controls and operate machinery
  • Adhere to all relevant Standard Work Instructions (SWI's)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hazardous environments and/or hold current certification in Working at Heights and Confined Spaces. A Forklift ticket and basic computer knowledge are also desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Major Hazard Facilities
  • Forklift ticket and basic computer knowledge
  • Experience in a mining/resources/heavy industry, operating machinery or similar
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Intermediate literacy, numeracy and logical reasoning
  • Physical ability to pass a pre-employment medical
