About the Role

We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as either a Senior Tax Accountant or a Supervisor.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships & SMSF.
  • Prepare financial statements, BAS/IAS/PAYG for the above.
  • Build relationships with clients.
  • Use Xero & FYI.
  • Research general taxation issues.
  • Varying business advisory projects under the supervision of managers and directors.

Requirements
  • An accounting degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Australian accounting public practice.
  • Completed or in the process of completing CA or CPA program.
  • Great numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A good understanding of general accounting principles.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Pro-active and hard-working mentality.
  • Experience with accounting software (XPM, Xero, MYOB, FYI Docs and BGL Simple Fund) is advantageous.
