Car Finance Consultant Role

We are seeking a seasoned Car Finance Consultant to provide exceptional customer service and support customers at checkout with confidence.

You will be responsible for guiding customers through car loan applications, screening and assessing their needs, creditworthiness, and affordability. You will act as a liaison between lenders and customers, managing approvals and declines, while utilizing your expertise to offer additional products such as extended warranties and vehicle protection.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Finance Consultant, Broker, or Business Manager, ideally in asset finance or dealerships. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience with credit assessment, affordability checks, and lender communication are essential.

You will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, leveraging new technology platforms to streamline workflows and customer interactions. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with your ability to work with evolving digital systems and CRM platforms, will make you an ideal fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide customers through finance applications at the time of purchase
  • Screen and assess customers' needs, creditworthiness, and affordability
  • Act as a liaison between lenders and customers, managing approvals and declines
  • Offer additional products such as extended warranties and vehicle protection
  • Maintain compliance and accuracy across all loan documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Finance Consultant, Broker, or Business Manager
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - preferably Cert IV in mortgage and finance broking
  • Experience with credit assessment, affordability checks, and lender communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with evolving digital systems and CRM platforms
