Job Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in our network security operations team, handling level 3 escalations and organizing vulnerability and maintenance windows.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Junior Voice Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Installation, configuration, and upgrade of hardware, systems, and software for networks.
  • Performance Monitoring: Management of network and security performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement to optimize performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and manage risk at every aspect of work.
  • Security: Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
  • Project Design: Undertake project design and architecture work, including high-level and detailed design work.
  • Tech Consultation: Provide technical consultation to business/technology stakeholders to support relevant infrastructure partners and other business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Coding Skills: Coding skills: Python scripting/coding (intermediate) - primary importance.
  • DevOps Tools: DevOps tools skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
  • Network Security: Network security: operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges. Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.
  • Data Management: Data management skills: data collection, schema binding, data manipulation, and analytical skills.
