Job Opportunity:

A key role exists for a Supply Chain Strategist to join the supply planning team within our division. The supply planning team collaborates with the entire supply chain and business for our region.

The Supply Chain Strategist's role is to oversee the sales forecasting process for all customers and products. You will be responsible for multiple stakeholders and differing product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with sales teams and customers
  • Developing and maintaining demand forecasts in models
  • Development and implementation of reporting to drive supply chain improvements
  • Review historical sales trends, search future market trends to improve forecast results
  • Support and lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Measure and improve Forecast accuracy and forecast bias
  • Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence from Forecast and Life Cycle issues to minimize inventory write-offs

Requirements:

  • SAP experience 2+ years
  • S&OP experience or exposure
  • Proficient in Excel and forecasting systems
  • Passionate attitude in delivering results
  • Demand planning or supply planning experience 2+ years
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
