Automotive Technician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Melbourne's North West. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on vintage classics, fleet vehicles, and everyday cars.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive mechanics and experience working with a variety of vehicle types. You will be working in a clean, organized environment alongside a supportive team and a hands-on owner who is highly regarded in the industry.
- Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostic checks, and mechanical repairs
- Reconditioning components as needed (e.g., brake hoses)
- Working on brake and clutch repairs
- Maintaining a clean and organized workshop with a focus on workflow
- Collaborating with a team of 6-7 technicians, including senior staff and apprentices
Requirements
- Cert III in Automotive (Mechanic) qualification
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a workshop environment, preferably with fleet vehicles
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full and unrestricted work rights within Australia (no sponsorship available)
