Job Overview

As a Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in satellite connected networking solutions. This role involves working with teams to design and implement complex systems, as well as providing on-site support and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IP networking and IT, including knowledge of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems. They will also have strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose client issues and propose solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations and reports to clients on performance and incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Satellite Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and implement satellite-based network solutions for clients, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • On-Site Support and Maintenance: Provide on-site support and maintenance for satellite systems, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to record system configurations and support bids.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Trade-qualified to Australian Electrotechnology/Telecommunications/IP Networking Certificate VI or equivalent: A minimum of 4 years industry experience in IP networking and IT is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and/or Linux Operating Systems: The ideal candidate will have experience in IP networking and IT, including knowledge of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are necessary to diagnose client issues and propose solutions.
