Warehouse Stocking Specialist

This role is responsible for maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment by stocking and straightening merchandise, adhering to merchandising standards, and ensuring safe working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Merchandise Maintenance: Ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal heights, align products to meet display expectations, collect stray items, and restock shelves as necessary.
- Stockroom Operations: Safely move pallets using manual pallet jacks, stack partial pallets to full capacity, and utilize box knives to cut boxes for product accessibility.
- Communication: Collaborate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans, prioritize tasks, and provide updates on stock levels and inventory management.
Additional Tasks:
- Set up and assemble display models, modify displays for safety, and ensure correct product signage is in place.
- Remove loose cardboard and debris from the floor, clear sales floors, sweep, remove empty pallets, operate balers and compactors, and rewrap loose product using shrink-wrap machines.
- Provide excellent member service, assist with loading large items, direct members to products, and share product knowledge.
- Adhere to Safe Work Practices and assist other departments as needed.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Assist with front-end duties as required.
- Support other areas of the department as necessary.
- Participate in cross-functional training and projects within the warehouse team.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and merchandising principles.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
