Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models that drive digitization of real-world infrastructure from various data sources such as LIDAR, imagery, and vector data.

You will work at every stage of the ML lifecycle, from data collection and quality assurance to training and model monitoring. Your expertise in deep learning and classical ML algorithms will enable you to develop approaches to generate accurate electric networks from imperfect data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize training pipelines to reduce toil and idea-to-evaluation time.
  • Scale the serving of models for different problems with diverse characteristics while minimizing time from the first model to production.
  • Improve the speed of model quality assurance and identify data and distribution drift in the models.
  • Work with various data sources, including LiDAR, aerial photography, photogrammetry & GIS, and build scalable data pipelines to support training and serving.
  • Mentor other engineers in best practices for model training and software engineering.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills applied to new domains.
  • Able to work effectively asynchronously and cross-functionally on ill-defined problems.
  • Able to own problems and proactively approach challenges.
