About The Role

As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Technology Team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning techniques to drive business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and programming, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in a simple way.

What You'll Do

Develop and deploy complex machine learning models and algorithms for various applications, such as search optimisation, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, fraud detection, natural language processing, and computer vision
Collaborate with data and engineering teams and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of machine learning models
Work with large, complex datasets to pick suitable models, create useful training sets, and adjust the model accordingly
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to our business problems

What you'll bring:

Extensive programming skills in Python
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Knowledge of data science and expertise in statistics (e.g. Numpy, Pandas)
Preferably experience with GCP or AWS
Experience with databases like Vector DBs, BigQuery, ElasticSearch, MySQL
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with people in your team
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
