Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, implement effective security measures, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the security posture of ICT systems
  • Ensure system compliance with Commonwealth security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to minimize risk to Australian Government assets

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience as a Systems Administrator or equivalent
  • Experience in Cyber Security or a related field
  • Knowledge of ISM and PSPF frameworks
  • Understanding of cyber security principles and concepts
  • Defence experience is highly desirable

Due to the nature of the role, we require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold and maintain an NV2 security clearance.
