Pump Fitter Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled and experienced Pump Fitter looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Australia.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working on various pump-related tasks, including fault finding, repair, and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and experience working with engineered pumps.

Responsibilities
  • Employ advanced fault-finding methodologies to diagnose and repair pump issues
  • Strip and survey pumping equipment, noting key components, configurations, and conditions
  • Perform pressure testing of pumps to ensure proper functioning
  • Rebuild pumping equipment in accordance with industry standards
  • Support and facilitate personnel development through organized training programs
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in engineered pumps, steam, gas, and turbine systems
  • Trade Certificate III Mechanical Fitting or equivalent qualification
  • Strong dedication to working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship
