Job Description

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced technicians to service and repair mechanical parts for road transport vehicles such as trucks, buses, and earthmoving equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and repairing cooling systems and diesel fuel systems
  • Repairing and servicing steering and suspension systems
  • Discussing with clients to detect faults
  • Any other tasks requested by your host employer

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to continue your apprenticeship
  • Previous experience in the motor industry or a strong interest in mechanics
  • A keen eye for detail and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
  • No skin allergies due to working with grease, oil, or petrol
  • Manual driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
