About the Role

Catholic Education Rockhampton is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Work Placement Officer. This role is a key part of our commitment to providing students with valuable work experience and industry exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work experience opportunities for students, ensuring they gain practical skills and industry exposure.
  • Work closely with the Pathways Officer to develop and implement work placement programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to secure work placement opportunities.
  • Provide support and guidance to students throughout the work placement process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of work placement programs.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience with student management systems, such as TASS, is highly desirable.
