Youth Recovery Specialist

Young people experiencing mental health challenges require empathetic and skilled professionals to support their recovery. We are seeking highly motivated Community Mental Health Practitioners to join our Youth Residential Services team in Caboolture, where they will play a vital role in helping young individuals build independence, develop life skills, and work towards their personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications\- Deliver personalized support to young people aged 16-21, focusing on their individual needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with young people, families, and carers to develop and implement recovery plans through one-on-one sessions, shared supports, workshops, and group facilitation.
- Work a flexible rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and sleepovers, to provide consistent and responsive care.
- Support young people to return to their community, live independently, and enjoy a meaningful life through a staged approach to recovery.
- Plan and deliver programs to build skills and focus on recovery, engaging young people in goal-setting and decision-making processes.
- Engage families and carers through education, referrals, and support, fostering strong relationships and promoting collaborative practice.
- Collaborate with a range of services and the community to ensure a coordinated response to people's recovery goals.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the residential service, undertaking housekeeping duties as required.
