The Role
  • As a Peer Support Specialist, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working primarily in the HOPE program, supporting consumers in their recovery journey.
  • You will provide a unique lived experience perspective on recovery, enhancing clinical mental health service delivery.
  • Under the guidance of the clinical team Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality support to consumers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and participating in the clinical team
  • Providing emotional and practical support to consumers to achieve their recovery goals
  • Facilitating opportunities for consumers to develop meaningful community networks and supports
