About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist/Optical Assistant to join our team at Kevin Hackett Optometrist. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized solutions for patients, working closely with the team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Handle all phone calls, including appointments and enquiries, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Manage accounts and banking, as well as general office and reception duties
  • Utilize our Practice Management Software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook to efficiently manage tasks and communicate with the team
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical profession, with a strong focus on customer service and communication
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Flexibility to work extra days and Saturday mornings when required
