Optical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist/Optical Assistant to join our team at Kevin Hackett Optometrist. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks.

• Provide personalized solutions for patients, working closely with the team to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle phone calls, including appointments and enquiries, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Manage accounts and banking, as well as general office and reception duties
• Utilize our Practice Management Software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook to streamline tasks and improve efficiency

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical profession, with a strong focus on customer service and communication
• High level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
