Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in delivering high-quality pathology results to patients and clinicians. The successful applicant will work with a diverse range of specialty pathology, joining a team of scientists and technicians at a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of operational laboratory activities including coordination and provision of scientific and technical training.
  • Review, develop and quality manage laboratory practices to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the laboratory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services.
  • Customer-focused approach displaying well-developed interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
