
Personalised Daily Living Experience Coordinator

A dynamic Household Coordinator role has become available at a residential aged care facility. This permanent position offers a 7-day operation, with day shifts from 8:00am to 4:00pm, providing personalized daily living experiences for residents in the neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate household operations within a neighborhood of approximately 17 residents, ensuring seamless delivery of care services
- Assist with resident personal care and administer basic medications as required, promoting dignity and independence
- Develop and facilitate individual activities based on residents' interests, hobbies, and preferences, fostering engagement and enjoyment
- Serve as a link between residents, families, and other roles in the home, providing support and guidance
- Coordinate daily living experiences tailored to residents' needs and preferences, enhancing their overall quality of life
- Support new residents and their families as they transition into the facility, offering a warm welcome and assistance
- Identify opportunities to enhance services and experiences offered by the household, incorporating resident and family feedback
- Ensure team members are aware of resident events or appointments requiring coordination, maintaining effective communication
- Maintain knowledge of service offerings and suggest enhancements, driving continuous improvement and excellence
- Oversee stocktake management of consumables within the household, optimizing resources and minimizing waste
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults, demonstrating empathy and compassion
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Respect for the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents, upholding diversity and inclusivity
- Completion of Cert III or Cert IV, or qualifications in aged care, Enrolled Nurse, independent support, frontline management, or similar, recognizing prior learning and experience
- Experience in Personal Care, Leisure and Lifestyle, Hospitality, or Nursing, showcasing transferable skills and adaptability
- Ability to influence others and coordinate people and resources effectively, leading by example and empowering teams
- Creative problem-solving skills, embracing challenges and finding innovative solutions
- Highly organized, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands with ease
