Job Title: Land And Property Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land And Property Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to the management of heritage-related issues, land management activities, and offsite properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate rehabilitation activities and manage environmental contractors.
  • Engage with the Aboriginal community and provide technical advice on environmental matters.
  • Inspect and report areas affected by spontaneous combustion, meet with leasees regarding rural properties, and analyze environmental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide input into the overall environmental strategy for the site and liaise with local land holders and community members.
  • Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within the Mining Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of NSW environmental legislation.
  • Experience in mine rehabilitation, biodiversity offsets, and land management activities.
  • Prior experience in property management.
  • Proficient in project and contractor management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
