Key responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing strategies to improve functional capacity and work-readiness, delivering interventions, referring clients to external support services, providing evaluations, and liaising with medical professionals.
Requirements include a qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, understanding of multidisciplinary barriers to employment, experience in delivering person-centered Occupational Therapy services within community or rehabilitation settings, exceptional communication and engagement skills.
