
Theatre Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
This role requires a high level of expertise in theatre nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing individualized plans for each patient, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining detailed patient records.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in theatres environment and 12 months experience in Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU). They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans for each patient to promote safe recovery
- Educate patients and families on post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among colleagues
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years' experience in theatres environment
- Minimum 12 months experience in Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Working with Children check
