Job Overview

We are seeking a conductor to fill a vital role in our train operations.

About the Position
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trains, providing exceptional customer service and adhering to safety protocols.

  • Fare management is also crucial, encompassing ticket sales, checking tickets and fare advice during train services.
  • Platform duties include overseeing train departures and assisting with luggage at stations.
  • Coach duties involve managing coaches during planned and unplanned disruptions and events.
  • Fault reporting is essential, as is emergency management.
Your Qualifications and Skills
  • You should have completed Year 10 or equivalent.
  • A valid Victorian Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Availability for shift work is required, including 24/7 shifts.
  • Cash handling experience is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work within rules and compliance frameworks is essential.
  • Friendly customer service skills are critical.
  • Strong safety awareness is paramount.
