K-12 Sport Coordinator Job Description

Are you a sports enthusiast looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Do you have the passion to develop and lead sporting programs that promote physical activity, enjoyment, and achievement for students?

We are seeking an experienced and qualified K-12 Sport Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing sport programs that align with our College's vision and values.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sport program that promotes physical activity, enjoyment, and achievement for students.
  • Lead and manage teams of staff to deliver high-quality sport programs.
  • Co-coordinate annual college carnivals (Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country) that engage a maximum number of students and provide opportunities for students to progress in a well-prepared manner to more competitive levels of competition.
  • Coordinate communication of opportunities and administration for Primary and Secondary students who are eligible for attendance at Zone/CSSA/CIS trials.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of sport development principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
