Sports Development Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Sports Development Coordinator within our dynamic Sports team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to work within a successful sports program and to lead a team of sports coaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a variety of activities and team sports for students in Years K-12.
- Lead fitness training sessions for Senior School athletes as part of our Strength & Conditioning team.
- Manage representative pathways, athlete education, and athlete support.
- Collaborate with the Sports Department team to deliver and attend sports carnivals and events.
- Management and organisation of the Duke of Edinburgh camps.
Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual with a strong background in Water Polo and Strength and Conditioning. A Level 1 ASCA qualification, or the willingness to obtain it, is required.
A strong understanding of IGSA and IPSHA representative sports pathways would be highly beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, administration, time management, and communication skills.
A current First Aid and CPR certificate is also essential.
